Review: My Favorite Clean Protein Powder
For a really long time, I was so hesitant to use any type of protein powders. As a division 1 athlete in college, we were always given Corepower shakes and these really set the tone for my view on protein drinks and shakes. I hated drinking them and they are made with SO many added sugars and things I didn’t want to put into my body. Even in a recent review by Harvard Health, they show that many protein powders are high in added sugar as well as toxic chemicals. Yeah, no thanks. Well it took a long time, but finally I came around and with my own experimentation and research, I found one that I love and know I am putting good into my body.
Sprout Living is currently my favorite brand of protein powder. Their ingredients are amazing and really they use nothing bad inside. Some things I watch out for in protein powders are added sugars, thickeners and gums, dextrin, artificial sweeteners. There are many more that you should maybe watch out for, but the one thing I can say is really do your research before buying and using protein powders.
